14,000 monthly website views with Pinterest - here’s how I do it

Every so often, something surprises you in business — not with a gentle nudge, but with a full-blown epiphany. For me, that something was Pinterest.
It was the platform I initially treated as an experiment — and it’s now become the top driver of traffic to my website.
Here’s how this unexpected pivot helped me unlock more visibility, more alignment, and a whole new level of authenticity in my business.
From Side Project to Strategic Growth Channel 📌
Several years ago, a friend from a mastermind suggested I try posting my YouTube content on Pinterest. With nothing to lose, I created five quick pins, linked them to my course and blog, and walked away.
I didn’t think much of it — until years later when I looked at my analytics and saw that one of those original pins had been driving steady traffic ever since. That one pin had done more for my visibility than entire social media campaigns.
This prompted a major shift in how we approach content distribution. Today, we create five Pinterest pins per podcast episode or piece of long-form content. The result? Consistent, scalable traffic — with far less effort than most platforms require.
But this discovery led to something even more powerful than just increased visibility.
The Power of Embracing the Whole Story 📖
As I dug deeper into what was working on Pinterest, I noticed a pattern: my motorcycle-related content — from years ago — was still outperforming everything else.
At first, I resisted. That content felt like part of my "old" business — one I had moved on from. I was focused on business strategy, podcasting, and helping others grow their brands.
But the numbers didn’t lie. And more importantly — I still loved that part of my life.
That’s when I had the breakthrough:
- I don’t have to compartmentalize who I am to be successful.
- I can be a strategist and a storyteller.
- A coach and a creator.
- A podcast host and a motorcycle enthusiast.
Once I allowed that full version of myself to be part of my brand, everything clicked — not just for me, but for the audience I was attracting.
Multi-Passionate Branding Isn’t a Weakness — It’s a Strength 💡
There’s an outdated idea that you have to fit into a narrow niche to grow your business. But the truth is: depth builds connection.
Sharing the evolution of who you are — your previous experiences, your personal interests, your unique backstory — doesn’t dilute your brand. It strengthens it.
Whether you used to be in corporate, are raising kids, have creative passions outside your business, or simply wear many hats — it all adds to your story. And your story is one of the most powerful assets you have.
People don’t just connect to your content. They connect to your context. When you show the full arc — where you started, what changed, and where you are now — you become more relatable, more memorable, and more trusted.
A Sustainable Strategy That Works — Authentically ❤️🔥
The real shift has been internal. By embracing all parts of my identity, I’ve built a brand that feels aligned and exciting — and created a strategy that’s actually sustainable.
I now repurpose my long-form content across five platforms in just two hours a week — with Pinterest as the anchor. If you want to see exactly how I do that, I’ve laid it all out in my Business Blueprint. It includes:
📌 My current Pinterest strategy
🛠️ A breakdown of my weekly repurposing workflow
🎯 The tools, templates, and decision-making checklists I use
📈 And weekly updates with what’s actually working right now
So, you don’t need to “choose” one version of yourself to be successful. You don’t need to hide the parts of your past that don’t fit neatly into a niche. Your multi-passionate self is your superpower — and your story has room for all of it.
Lean into what lights you up. Trust what the data (and your gut) are telling you. And remember: the most powerful business you can build is the one that’s fully, unapologetically you.
