You Are Always Where You Need To Be

Life can feel really hard sometimes, right? 😔
Disappointments pile up. Things stall. You feel like you’re grinding the gears with everything you've got—and still getting nowhere. Some days, it can even feel like you're going backwards, or worse, free-falling into a space you never asked to be in.
But here's the wild, powerful truth that’s changed my life ⤵️
✨ You are always where you need to be. ✨
I know… I used to roll my eyes at that too. 🙄
I’ve always lived with this intense, internal time pressure. Like I’m running out of time to hit all my goals, chasing that future version of myself with a fire that sometimes burns a little too hot. I wanted to skip to the good part—the success, the “I made it” moment, the dream life.
Life doesn’t work that way. Goals don’t work that way. And just like riding a motorcycle, you can’t jump from first gear to sixth. You have to shift, gear by gear, moment by moment.
Stop Arguing With Reality 🧘♀️
This idea first hit me during a cold winter in Minnesota. I was at a spiritual center when a speaker said something that really opened me up:
“You don’t have to struggle against reality. Stop arguing with where you are.”
That hit deep for me.
Because for the longest time, I had been arguing—with my circumstances, my timeline, my progress (or lack of it). I wasn’t ready to accept my “now.” I only wanted my “next.”
But here’s what shifted everything for me:
🩷 You’re not failing just because you’re not there yet.
🩷 You’re learning. Growing. Gathering the tools for what’s to come. And that’s a beautiful thing.
Reframing Frustration into Freedom 😌
Lately, when I feel that 10/10 level of frustration — like I haven’t cracked the code, like the goal is still out of reach—I ask myself:
What’s the gift in not being there yet?
And honestly? The answers are kind of amazing:
🫶🏻 I have more time to create freely
👫 I have space to be present with my family
🧖♀️ I get more time for self-care
🧶 I get to play, experiment, and figure it out in my own weird, messy way
And most of all: I haven’t figured it all out yet—and that’s the FUN part.
It means there are still possibilities to explore. Strategies to test. Versions of myself I haven’t met yet. 👋
Let the Walls Fall Down 🧱
When we resist where we are, we build invisible walls between ourselves and the good things the universe wants to send us.
We’re basically saying:
“If it’s not perfect, I won’t receive it.”
But that next-level dream? It’ll come with its own challenges too. If we can't sit with the discomfort of now, we’ll keep blocking what’s meant for us.
Instead of fighting reality, try leaning into it. Ask:
🌟 What haven’t I tried yet?
🌟 What can I learn from this version of stuckness?
🌟 What if this place I’m in is actually preparing me for something better than I imagined?
You’re Not Behind. You’re in Progress.
And growth? Growth might just be more important than the goal itself.
Because learning, evolving, expanding? That’s why you’re here.
That’s the whole damn point.
So, don't be afraid to take a breath. Stop the self-blame. Stop the pushing.
And start trusting that this—right here, right now—isn’t a mistake.
You are exactly where you need to be. 🫶🏻
